Here's another quick dose of some pre-fall fashion! I have worked some print mixing once again with a vintage looking scarf and some tribal printed joggers {still obsessed with this pant style} and I just adore the typical fall colors that make this outfit feel like autumn. Being super easy to throw on and great for wearing during the summer and fall, an open knit cardigan is a must-have for the weather transition from warm air to crisp chills. When your back-to-school season's style goal is to stay comfortable and casual while looking well put-together, an outfit like this can do you wonders during the school year. Throwing in some patterns or textures here and there give a simply stated outfit a fabulous garnish for walking around school in style.

One of the smartest clothing investments for this summer/fall transition is a good pair of joggers that can be styled to fit any signature look from sporty to business chic. The fabric of this pair that I'm wearing is soft, simple, and lightweight --- perfect for letting a breeze seep through while still being just as wearable for cooler nights out. I am obsessed with the print and color of this scarf, and it goes wonderfully with these chambray joggers, white long sleeve tee, and throwing on a menswear inspired button down shirt pulls the entire look together with a flawless finesse. Be sure to take advantage of these last few weeks of summer by treating yourself to some new wardrobe additions! {And of course some ice cream too...}

Fall Trends 2014
Fall Trends 2014 by Rabeeah

With a new school year and fall right around the corner, its important to start the season off with some fresh and trendy styles. These picks are great everyday essentials for both work and school, and it is important that they are handy, comfortable, and chic. Here are the reasons why these are some of my favorite trends of this coming season. This simple felt fedora is great for topping off a casual outfit to make it look chic. Any black leather jacket with quilted sleeves looks immaculate paired with boyfriend jeans and a white boxy tee. A random accessory such as a keychain can make even your keys look fashionable. We all have those days where we don't want to bring a bag, and this small puff ball can add a little pop to a bland outfit. We have all seen how Birkenstocks have been making a huge comeback lately, and with the metallic trend coming in why not bring the two trends together to form an amazing season essential? I have been loving the look of a extra long oversized tshirt dress with black and white stripes with tan leather and an olive utility jacket. A few touches of gold on your hands can transform an entire ensemble from boring to fashionista glam. A watch, a simple cuff and/or a bunch of well-stacked rings can pull any perfectly together. The cutout booties are a great fall fashion find because their soft grey hue is a tone that can be worn with any outfit. I love about the patchy skinny jeans is that they are super easy to wear while being the perfect balance of chic and comfy. Happy fall shopping!

As you may or may not have noticed, black is my favorite color in the whole wide world. Since it's the most heat-absorbing color, it has been hard for me to keep my hands off of the black portion of my wardrobe. I threw this crepe woven shift dress together with some medium wash skinnies and suede OTK boots. To finish the look I added a beautiful rhinestone encrusted pendant necklace along with a fringe shoulder bag, an oxblood scarf {a color of the fall!}, and a floppy felt hat. The weather is now at that perfect temperature due to the season's gradual transition from summer to fall. I can't wait to pull out my fall favorites next season, and right now I am forcing myself to get as many summer-friendly outfits posted as I can before I can get my fall fashion into action....

Escaping the suburban heat by running off to the beach and indulging in its perfection is my top favorite way to spend the last few weeks of summer. Basking in the warn sun, picking sweet smelling flowers, letting the sand spill between my fingers, sipping coconut water under the cool shade of palm leaves, and inhaling the crisp and fresh scent of the ocean hinted breeze is an experience that completes my bucket list. These sensations bring the feeling of freedom, so why not take another step forward and dress like a free spirited bohemian?

P R I N T + P O P

Lately I have been doing quite a bit of dress shopping, and this red skater dress is definitely one of my top favorite finds. Vibrant colors are so fun to wear during the summertime, and my favorite summer color is a big, bright pop of red. Having an unhealthy addiction to mixing prints, I have fulfilled my crave for another mixup with a lightweight houndstooth scarf and pointed denim pinstripe flats. One of my favorite ways to wear this poppy red dress is by pairing it with an enlarged houndstooth print, pinks, neutrals, stacked bracelets, and of course denim --- the staple of my closet.
