I T - K N I T S

My absolute favorite part of the crispy weather is bringing out the cozy knits! I can't wait until it starts getting super cold so then the layering can begin as well. Here are some of my ultimate favorites that I pulled from the web, and despite the fact almost all of these are complete splurges, they are beautiful pieces that can be worn with anything anywhere throughout the chilly seasons. The reason I chose these sweaters in particular is because they are versatile basics, and their neutral tones allow them to be paired with everything. Their unique textures give multiple opportunities to be worn with other simple pieces as well. A couple of the best ways to wear these are either with your go-to denim garments, or layered over a loose tee and under a jacket. If you are looking for more affordable versions of these comfy staples, I have linked similar ones along with the originals. Happy fall shopping!

C R I S P + C U F F E D

In order to execute a classic and clean look, it is essential to start off with a pair of your favorite boyfriend jeans and combining it with some great basics. I chose to add a crisp white oxford shirt with a thick warm scarf, a structured tote bag, and some slides. For those of you who are into classic menswear or a minimal street style look, an outfit like this is a great go-to, especially for those days when you are in the mood for dressing sophisticated and relaxed. I love cuffing the bottoms of any style jeans to finish off this plain and casual outfit.

One of my favorite classic fall pieces is anything chambray. It can begin or finish off any simple outfit whether it is opened, buttoned, tied at the waist, or draped over your bag. The material and texture of this thin and lightweight denim shirt is essential for pairing with any textures and patterns of all sorts. Updating the classic chambray garment with some trendy pieces will give you a great rustic look for the fall. To achieve this look, I slipped into my favorite ankle boots and pulled out the bucket bag that has been waiting patiently in my closet for the transition into fall. This bucket bag is a great save for those of you who are currently in love with Mansur Gavriel's bucket bags {like I am!}. A great pair of tortoiseshell-framed sunnies or Ray-Ban club masters and some rings would give this look an immaculate finish.
