Lately I've been loving how these organic fruit syrups by Wawa-wee make almost every breakfast meal I have so delicious. They taste amazing with pancakes, waffles, granola, cheese and crackers, iced tea, and even drizzled over a plain old bowl of berries. One of my favorite ways to eat it is in a breakfast parfait. I've made my own recipe to go along as well! Happy eating :P

  • 1 cup of plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp of honey {local > store-bought!}
  • 1-2 tbsp Blueberry Wawa-wee Organic Fruit Syrup
  • 1/2 cup of granola
  • 1/4 cup of blueberries
  • *adjust the measurements to your liking :)
  • mix the yogurt and the honey together in a bowl {tip: add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract for extra flavor}
  • sprinkle the granola and blueberries over the yogurt
  • drizzle the Wawa-wee syrup on top to experience the perfect blueberry parfait!

This fall and winter, suede has been making such a huge comeback and I've absolutely been loving it. We all know how suede shoes and boots are obvious staples. However, the innovative garments made from this fabric have been trending all over the runways. The new tribal and bohemian chic looks are spreading across campaigns from ChloƩ to Mango, and I must say this fabric has really got me swooning. I've seen lots of suede styles of clothing, but this suede button down dress in particular caught my eye because of its versatility. The cut allows the piece to look great both open or closed. My favorite way to wear this is as a coat over a simple pair of jeans with a tee and a pair of my favorite boots {no surprise there hahah!}

Happy new year! 2015 was filled with so many great memories, but I'm so glad I'm one step closer to getting school over with. Woot woot for class of 2k16! :) I finally had another reason to pull out the gorgeous pair of silk and velvet trousers from the BalmainxHM collection! I think this is the first time I'm posting a look wearing them... I love how they can easily be dressed up for an extravagant and Gatsby-worthy NYE party or toned down for a formal family dinner. I kept the outfit simple to keep the focus of the look on the pants, and I went for a smokey/shimmery makeup look to balance it out. Deets are listed below!

tee: zara
jacket: h&m, {sold out, similar here}
